Everything You Need to Know
We have showcased some of the most common questions we get from our clients below. But we know it’s impossible to cover everything. If there is anything you’re still wondering about or unsure of, please don’t hesitate to call or send us a message. We will look into it and get back to you as soon as we can.
Where can I find my Stopcock?
Generally it is found in the cupboard under your sink. If not, it could be in your garage or downstairs toilet.

If you don't have a Stopcock in the property there should be a way to isolate the water outside.
My toilet won’t stop flushing. What can I do?
It could be the fill valve isn't shutting off as it should. We would recommend shutting the water off to the toilet. This can be done either by turning off the Stopcock or turning off the isolation valve (if you have one) by the toilet. Or give us a call and we will fix it for you.
I've drilled through a water pipe. What do I do?
Immediately turn off your water via the Stopcock. Open all taps. The water should stop after a few minutes.
One or two of my radiators won't get hot. What could this be?
1) The TRV pin could be stuck. You can unscrew the head of the valve and try gently wiggling the pin up and down to free it.
2) There could be a blockage in the pipe work as it enters or exists the radiator. We would therefore recommend a flush/system clean.
3) If its warm/hot at the bottom of the radiator but the top is cool the radiator just needs bleeding.
